Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Welcome to AdmitWizard. By creating an account or using admitwizard.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

AdmitWizard is a tool that helps students organize their college applications — tracking schools, deadlines, essays, and providing AI-assisted estimates and guidance. AdmitWizard is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any college, university, the Common Application, or any admissions office.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. Parent accounts have read-only access to a linked student’s progress and are created only via an invite the student sends.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others.

3. Payments & Refunds

Pro is a one-time purchase that grants access for a fixed term (3, 6, or 12 months). It is not a subscription — there is no auto-renewal and you will not be charged again.

Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we’ll review it in good faith. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details.

4. If We Discontinue the Service

If we ever decide to shut down AdmitWizard, we will:

Give you advance notice by email before access ends;
Stop selling new Pro purchases immediately; and
Either keep your Pro features active until your paid term ends, or refund the unused, prorated portion of your current term.

You can export your data at any time (see below), so you’ll always be able to take your information with you.

5. Your Data & Privacy

You own the data you enter (your college list, essays, and profile). We use it only to provide the Service.
You can download all of your data at any time from Settings → My Data → Download My Data, and you can permanently delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone.
AI features send the minimum necessary information to our AI provider to generate results; we do not sell your personal data.

6. Acceptable Use

Don’t misuse the Service — including attempting to bypass usage limits, scrape or overload our systems, access other users’ data, or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer

AdmitWizard is provided “as is.” Admission-chance scores, net-price figures, deadlines, and AI suggestions are estimates for planning purposes only and are not guarantees. Always verify deadlines, costs, and requirements directly with each college. AdmitWizard does not guarantee admission to any school.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
